Hello, I'm Sue Meikle  (Meikle rhymes with "treacle!") 

I'm a children's author and a picture book enthusiast. In fact, I love picture books so much, that I turned reading them into my career.

A long time ago, I became an early years educator (with a  specialism in language development). This allowed me to combine my love for storytelling with helping children to grow their speech and language skills.

Over the past 30 years, I've shared stories with children far and wide, from Stockport to South Africa. I've even read stories on a travelling play bus!

One day, I imagined a story of my own and that story became a book! 

And guess what? I didn’t stop at just one book. My story continues...
